Ray Gill founded Gill Properties in May 1983 after spending 4 years at Edward LeMaster Co specializing in land and suburban acreage sales. Gill Properties was initially focused on land development, retail center construction and commercial sales and leasing. With a strong background in land values and development, Gill Properties soon established a reputation for identifying development patterns and recognizing the emerging value of land for investment by developers and users surrounding Memphis. Gill Properties focused on mixed use properties that offered opportunities to develop residential, apartment, self storage and retail properties.The firm plans to continue to improve its asset quality and develop properties that value design.
